Live Disk on a Mac?

Hey, I want to show my friend Ubuntu on his Mac Book because he abhors to seeing it on my computer. Anyway I would like to know how I would boot a Live USB or Live CD on a Mac.

As far as I know, Apple computers can't boot from USB, so you will have to use a live CD. When you restart the computer with the LiveCD in the drive press and hold "c" during the boot process (before the Apple logo appears). It should work from there just fine.
