I recently just switched from Windows Xp to Ubuntu. I did a clean install and Ubuntu is the only OS on my computer. I'm using a Dell dimension E510 desktop.
I've installed just about all the updates that Ubuntu requires but I've still have not had any sound since I've installed Ubuntu.
I've searched the forums and tried various suggestions including trying to uninstall pulse audio, and setting the sound preferences to ASLA but it doesn't seem to help.
I'm new to this operating system so I'm looking for any kind of help you guys can give me. Thanks.
