View Full Version : Linux Hamachi connecting to Windows Hamachi

Has anyone attempted this? I tried today with 0.9.9.9 for Linux and the version that i know works on Windows 1.0.0.56, but for some reason i could not see the (openarena) game on the other machine.

Edit: tried again today with the 0.9.9.9 version on both machines, still nothing?? if anyone has done this successfully, please at least tell me its possible?

Man, lately it seems like people are refusing to answer posts that explain my problems. If you ever figured this out, please post the solution. Thanks.

I have an operational Hamachi network between Ubuntu and Windows XP SP3 Home. I'm using Hamachi 0.9.9.9-20 on both Ubuntu AMD64 9.04 and my XO laptop and 1.0.3.0 on Windows.

The biggest challenge was getting the Windows firewall and the firewall in my D-Link router squared away. I hope to write about this on the Hamachi wiki sometime soon.
