keyboard only works when plugging it in after startup.

hey,

I have a very small noname wireless keyboard. In ubuntu, only the left half of the keyboard properly works. keys on the right half are mis-assigned.

Strangely enough, when I make sure ubuntu boots without the keyboard attached, and I plugin the usb wireless receiver after startup, the entire keyboard works fine.

Does anybody have an idea how I could make it always work?
