Hi,
I have some artwork which I did in Gimp and which I want to use for a CD cover. The printer has sent me a PDF template. What do I need, in ubuntu, to open the template, add my graphics and export a press quality PDF for the printer. I emailed the printer and he said he could easily tell me what to do in Quark or Indesign, but he didn't know about linux.

I thought scribus would do it, but it won't open the template. Gimp will open it but won't export it. What do I need?
Thanks

That's an ominous silence. I have a pal with Indesign. Surely it can be done with Ubuntu? Can't it?

Inkscape (apt:inkscape) can edit PDFs.

That's...odd, but I'm not complaining! :D Thanks for the tip.
