hey,why is that my screen is very dim WHEN I HAVE MY PLUG IN AND ITS BRIGHTER WHEN I USE BATTERY?
I try to adjust it at control panel already and i put both brightness at 100% and the result is still the same ><

anyone know wat happen with my laptop?

i tried to and both have diff result
when with battery its still brighter and while i plug in it gets back dimmer

I have a Dell 1420 dual boot Ubuntu/vista and I would definitely go to :
system/preferences/screensaver/powermanagement and check the settings you have for when it is plugged in and for battery use....check it and you should have it misconfigured or something...:KS
