how to i get to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Wine\
i have no clue and i dont understand how the guides say to get to it
so whats the easiest way
i know this is a very noobish question
whats a registry editor i was told to go there and find that

You might be better asking in the Ubuntu Forums WINE forum. Slightly different group of people there that use WINE more than the folk on this one.

Alt+F2, type in
regedit
This will start the Windows registry editor in WINE.:popcorn:
