What's the deal with Cedega

I've been trying to put my hands on cedega since everybody is raving about it but couldn't figure it out. Is it totally commercial? Can I use it after d/l it or will I have to pay membership in order to use it?

There's two kind of cedega. CedegaCVS and Pay Cedega. CedegaCVS you have to configure and compile by yourself. Pay Cedega you only need to install the .deb and it sets up everything for you. Plus CedegaCVS don't have everything to run as Cedega pay version. Cedega pay version you pay 3 months in advance ($15) then $5 each month after that. You can cancel the subscription after the 3 months and still use it, but you can't upgrade or update it.

The Pay cedega has a 14 day trial. I used that found out it played Everquest and warcraft perfectly, so i forked over the 5 a month
