does anyone know which ubuntu will work on dell optiplex 320?????
i found that feisty fawn works but only after switching boot loaders, so i'm attempting to switch it but i'm comming up with too many problems.

right now i'm stuck when trying to execute "sudo apt-get install lilo"
as i figured my terminal is not connected to internet, i have a LAN network connected through proxy on internet.
QUESTION:
is it possible to run a live CD distro of ubuntu and install a lilo through synaptic and then install ubuntu onto my sistem, will te system boot with lilo or will grub remain???
