View Full Version : Repetitive "Finished Loading" in Firefox 3 using Orca

Hi, I have a question.

When using Orca with Firefox, when I browse to ZDNet.com to read the blogs and comments in Talkback, why is it that I'm getting "finished loading" a couple of times like:

"Finished load... finished loading... finished loa-- finished loa-- finished loading, 100%"

Is it possible to make Orca only say "finished loading, 100%" only once when finished loading the web page? To me, this is irritating, but I usually don't give up browsing the website containing tech news that I like to read, including blogs.

I might even come across a website with "finished loading" repeated more than 50 times -- probably just to load up ads that I don't mind seeing, but only if it's related to a particular content, like Barracuda Anti-Spam Firewall or Vyatta (the makers of open-source router distro (or is it just software? I've got to look it up but that's as far as I remember). But just to load up portions of the web page separately from the main web page? Urgh... I will just go to another website... :(

Anyway, I'd greatly appreciate if there's anything I can do to tell Orca to speak "finished loading, 100%" only once if the webpage has been loaded into my browser successfully.

Thanks,
Grayson Peddie
