New user here.

Trying to install K9Copy using the Adept package manager. I get a
ACTION Break(Install) when I try to do this (unlike the other packages
that I have successfully installed).

What does this signify? Something I should load first?

Any help would be appreciated.

k9copy isn't in an official repository, which means it comes from some other Debian repository. This is NOT recommended and you shouldn't use unofficial repositories. If you need k9copy that badly, either package it in the Ubuntu style, or build it from source.

I am looking for a guide how to make deb packages in the Ubuntu way.
I would like to make a ubuntu package for K9copy.
