I've been running Ubuntu on my iMac and I'm now looking to build a Ubuntu system. How will this hardware setup work? Am I buying anything I don't need. I have two 1tb drives I am also going to include, one for media and one for backup. The 500GB drive will be partitioned for system and home. I plan to add a discrete graphics card later.

I should note that my alternative is to get a Dell system and make some upgrades, but I really like the 4 HD bays in this case.

I really appreciate any help anyone can give me before dropping such a huge amount of money.
