I'd personally go with Neverwinter Nights if you're a fan of RPGs with lots of gameplay (can spend hundreds of hours playing). It also has player customizable modules and online play.
A Tale In The Desert if you're into MMORPGs. It has a really deep crafting system and is based on ancient Egypt. There however is no fighting within the game if I recall correctly.
Medal of Honor : Allied Assault is also VERY fun. I've played this one many times and it is one of the best shooters for Linux. Especially if you're into the WWII era of history.

Markus,
Have you played World of Goo? Would you recommend it? I have been reading a lot about that recently.
Also, Shadowgrounds and Shadowgrounds Surivor are being ported to linux soon:

Of course I have played and recommend both of these games. Other wise I wouldn't have mentioned them.

Im looking forward to Quake Live coming out. They are currently working on the linux version, because they feel it is a more accepting crowd than the windows crowd (because we get less choice of games and therefore more likely to play their game).
I may be an idiot for waiting for Rage from ID as well. But it sounds interesting.

Yes you did. There was a false alarm when people from the Ph... website (yes I remember names as well as I can jump over houses... only if they are very small ;)). The false alarm was triggered by (probably) server files in the beta version of L4D (those server files where of course from the linux server).
The client is probably not worth porting. It's not a good game and they made it in very "unportable" way... xbox and windy only says it all.
