I currently have in my hands, one Toshiba Satellite P200 which belongs to my friend; I have this after my friend dropped it, tried to turn it on, heard the HDD clicking then threw it on the ground again.
I am aware the HDD is dead now but I am still trying to get the rest of it to work, what happens when you press power now is:
Blue power light lights up
Fans start, and stay on for 3 seconds.
But nothing else, no sound, no picture, nothing.
I have had a similar problem on a Toshiba TE2000 and it turned out it was a problem connecting from the battery board to the MoBo, but upon opening this one, it is all one board.
Any suggestions?
I have also tried plugging external monitor in if the display was buggered but to no avail
