I currently have a Web/Mail/DNS server running RedHatEnterpriseEdition. It's running off of a 1U SCSI PowerEdge 1850. I recently installed a new 300Gb SCSI in the second drive bay of the 1850.
I installed Ubuntu 8.10 Server on the new drive.
I have a printout of IP's for every piece of equipment in my LAN.
Here's the question:
How do I either reassign all new IP's or migrate IP's to the Ubuntu system and then how will I migrate all of my data/files from RedHat over to Ubuntu?
Right now I don't have a GUI installed on the Ubuntu drive, but I do have webmin installed on both the RHEL and Ubuntu8.10S drives.
I plan to control the new server almost entirely with Webmin.
Should I install a light GUI on the ubuntu drive (like xubuntu) so that I can work from the server terminal or should I not and just remote into Webmin from somewhere else in the LAN?
Thanks.
