Hello,

I'm trying to open the podcast on the following website:
http://www.todayfm.com/Music/Podcasts.aspx

I'm opening the one in the breakfast show and it won't open. In Amarok I get the message:
No suitable input plugin. This often means that the url's protocol is not supported. Network failures are other possible causes.
itms://.......

Is there any player on ubuntu that can be used for this or is my only option to go with a wine/itunes combination.

Thanks,
David

Here (https://help.ubuntu.com/community/RestrictedFormats/iTunesMusicStore) is some info on opening this type of podcast, once you get to the podcast feed, you should be able to add it to gpodder (http://gpodder.org/) or any other podcast-manager program.

Interestingly, Rhythmbox used to be able to open iTunes based podcast links (with an error) in the past but not any more. I used to get 98FM Toll Troll's podcasts that way, but now I'm on 7 and I just use iTunes official there. Got to really, iPod touch ain't compatible with Linux at all (as far as I know).

There are several tools that should help to access those podcasts:

http://sourceforge.net/projects/tunesviewer/

I hear ipod/iphone compatibility is supposed to be in next month's major upgrade (http://www.downloadsquad.com/2010/02/28/ubuntu-10-04-supports-iphone-and-ipod-touch-out-of-the-box/).
