Has anyone managed to get Carmageddon to work under Wine or one of its derivatives?
I used to really enjoy that game, I'd be happy to give it another whirl, I've got the Splat Pack add-on too... :lolflag:

Looks like both the Win95 and DOS versions of the game run fine:

Thanks, that is excellent news.
When I tried it a couple of years ago it was no go.

Well that just stinks. I also failed the last time I tried (also several years ago) and I think I threw out my disk.
Too bad too. That game was awesome. I'll have to poke around and see if I can find an old copy for sale somewhere

I have just completed the original game again. First time in probably a decade. Getting all misty-eyed with nostalgia playing it again, but have to be careful that my 7 yr old doesn't catch me playing it. Didn't have that worry last time I played this game :)
Anyhoo; has anyone managed to install the splat pack add-on?
Dying to try the other tracks and foes, but the installer won't work. I think this one may need the manual touch.

I live in a rural environment, & remember years back having some BIG sessions on that game.
One morning I was driving into town & saw some cattle grazing by the side of the road, guess what my first thought was? :lolflag:
I'm a vegetarian too!
