Dear All,
I have an Ubuntu 6.06 server and I am attempting to get some
in-house software installed on it. I have run into a problem because
the software depends on apache2 having a bunch of parameters passed
into it at boot with the -D parameter. I am unable to locate in the documentation or around the web if Ubuntu has the capability of passing -D parameters in at boot time. This seems to be possible on Red Hat (where the software was originally written using /etc/sysconfig/httpd). I was wondering if there was a way of passing -D parameters to the apache2 process at boot time in Ubuntu 6.06 or later?
Thank you in advance!
Chris
