View Full Version : Problem: "The module Windows Applications could not be loaded."

I'm getting this message when I open Windows Applications in System Settings. Does anyone know why this might have happened? I messed with my .wine directory in my home folder after uninstalling/reinstalling Wine a few times.

This is on KDE/Kubuntu, right? IIRC, the Windows Applications section of the KDE System Settings app is supposed to be defunct now. It never really worked correctly in the first place and you should use winecfg anyway.

Oh, yes, I should have mentioned that I'm on KDE, but it looks to be moot, anyway, eh.
Everything is working fine, but I was stymied by the Windows Apps. section. If it's defunct, that explains it.
Thanks very much for the response!
