View Full Version : [ubuntu] Disable network checking on startup

Hi!

I've just installed ubuntu 8.10 on a PC which has a problem with the ethernet card.

Internet works through a USB-Ethernet adapter, which works perfectly and Network Manager detects it correctly.

The problem is on startup, it "crashes" when checking for network adapters. I'd like to disable this check at startup, so I don't have to hit CTRL+ALT+SUPR every time I start the system.

Thanks for any help.
