Hi,
I would like to ask some help with this package "speech-dispatcher".
After installing it works fine and all. The problem is that while it's running I can't play ANY other music/audio file.
That is, if I want to hear any music I have to run:
/etc/init.d/speech-dispatcher stop
Logout of gnome, log back in and THEN other programs have access to the sound card.
Any help in how to proceed in solving this? Have you had the same issue?
(I am using Pulse audio, because of some Skype issue, maybe it works fine using alsa??)
