Hi all,
I am having a problem with my network configuration.
I have an interface connected with a cable to a router.
The machine also has some other network interfaces connected to an intranet.
My problem is that the interface connected to the router (and from there to the internet) should only go up or down when I want it.
Instead for the second time I found it up&running after I left it down last time I logged in (i use the machine through ssh).
The interface is not listed in /etc/network/interface, and the NetworkManager process is not running.
How it is possible that the machine, without rebooting (only logging in and out), automatically puts the interface up? how can i prevent this to happen?
