Hi i have just enabled the FGLRX hardware driver for my ati raedon x1950 pro and when i reboot it just shows black. It sometimes moves to a terminal where it shows repeating I/O errors but never reaches the login screen. I have managed to fix this issue by booting into recovery mode and fixing the x server but this means that xorg config file gets overwritten making my graphics drivers deactivated again. Please help.
