Hi,
I've finally grown sick and tired of working around the various issues with Belkin wireless adapters (compiling up drivers / modifying the vendor id info / ndiswrapper etc) and have spent far too many evenings working through obscure docs to get this stuff to work. The final straw came with the new Belkin N usb adapter which works (eventually) but is slower than the old G adapter it replaced!
have decided that it would be much easier for me to just spend some money on a well supported adapter.
Unfortunately I can't find any clear info on what is supported! The wiki seems very out of date.
Can anyone out me out of my misery and tell me if they have had good out of the box experiences with Intrepid and any 'N' wireless adapters? At a push I might go for G. I don't mind particularly if it is USB / PCI or even an ethernet bridge assuming that I can configure it to share a subnet with the other side of the wireless link.
Yours grumpily,
Steve
