I'm on the PS3 (Ubuntu 8.10), and there's some problem that doesn't let the ps3 connect automatically to wireless networks. Any, i'm trying to fix this by adding a command line entry by using rc.local or some other startup script (i think rc.local might not work b/c there's a command in it that sets my display resoultion that must be started before gdm. and the wireless somewhat depends on gdm from what i've seen). that way it does it for me.

Here's what i do to connect to my network after login.
1. click the network icon.
2. click connect to 'HIDDEN Wireless Network' (it must be hidden, although my network is not really hidden)
3. Click on my network connection.
4. Click Connect.

Here' my info:

Network Connection Name: Home Network
SSID: Home Network
WEP Key: 7A5ACBB7E9

Anyhelp appreciated! This is very annoying and i would love a fix. I just need to know how to do this in the command line.
