Poor Mythvideo cover art

Hello all,

A few months ago, the cover art that Mythvideo downloads started getting very low res images. There was a discussion about this on the mythtv newsgroup and a fix was made within a few days.

This fix doesn't seem to have made it into Mythbuntu fixes though. I had it working (by manually overwriting a file) in 8.04 and hoped that I wouldn't have to do that again in 8.10. I keep expecting a fix to patch this problem, but it never seems to. Any ideas what's going on?

Is this issue not being addressed in Mythbuntu for some reason? The cover art being downloaded by MythVideo is awful, but I know that the problem was fixed many months ago by people on the MythTV newsgroup.

My understanding is that imdb.pl has been deprecated due to terms of use violations... don't know if that is affecting the propogation of the "fixed" version in mythbuntu, but my guess it that's why it hasn't made it in - it's going to be replaced.

Might be best to find a known working version and replace the file. Maybe this will help (I believe you will be familiar with this archive :)
