Channel Scan returns wrong channel

I have a couple channel scanning issues that keep cropping up. I am using Mythbuntu 8.10 with an HDHR tuner for OTA. First I have a problem where my ABC station (22) is found during the scan, however when I select to watch it from the Mythfrontend I get one of the PBS stations content. I have tried rescanning several times and only once did it accurately get the ABC content and not the PBS content. What could cause the scan to find the ABC station but display the video stream from PBS? Furthermore, the TV guide information is correct for ABC even though the video is from PBS.

My second question is about signal strength. I have noticed that several stations have signal strengths that are not very consistent (80%+ to under 60%) which causes lock loss. Any suggestions on fixing this inconsistency?

The channel scan seems to be a bug. When I rescan setting the update method to delete it usually works out well.

You may need a bigger antenna, or better distribution system for your signal. Not all digital is at full strength yet thanks to Obama. We will have to wait until June to see what we really need for our OTA setups.
