help uninstall google gadgets

hello all

can any help me to uninstall Google gadgets.I have found out the hard way that all this eye candy isn't worth it.

I presume you mean the Google Gears Extension for Firefox?

Click on Tools->Add-ons and in the window that pops up click on Google and click uninstall. On earlier versions of Firefox it's Tools->Extensions .

Goto System --> Administration --> Synaptic Package Manager
Enter your password
Then use the searchbar to find gadget
Select google-gadgets
Select Complete removal
Click on Apply
Once finished open nautilus on your home folder press 'Ctrl & H' to display the hidden folders & files
Look for a folder named .google and double click on it, then select and delete the gadgets folder

Out of interest, what problems are you having with it?

They just don't do much and slow startup down.I thought they
would do more but there just eye candy.
