In a couple of days I'll be receiving a netbook. I want to install Ubuntu on that netbook so; can I put the image file I have downloaded (and successfully installed on a different PC via CD) on a USB stick and install the OS as if it was located on a CD?
Or are there any other "tricks" when installing on a machine that hasn't got a CD/DVD drive?

Boot the computer off of the Live cd and look under System menu for an option to create a USB Flash drive bootup. I'm not on my Ubuntu computer so I cannot get the exact details of where to go. This can also be done from the computer with Ubuntu installed but you will need the disc image.
