Wine config - no text

Running ubunutu 8.10 and installed wine. When i open the configuration for wine, i get a window with tabs, but none of the text appears. whats up with that? thanks

wow is it the latest version and...where did u install it from?

Try"
sudo apt-get remove wine
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install wine"
But that is up to you....

added from the add/remove app so i'd assume its the latest
