Hey, as you can see for my mistake, i did install windows only a few weeks after i had ubuntu 8.10 on my laptop.
the result is that i can't choose whether i want to go to windows or linux, it just starts windows automaticaly.
Is there anyway to install the ubuntu boot/engine (no idea how it is called) without erasing all my data?
If not, i have a USB PEN with BOOTABLE UBUNTU but that way i can only see the files but not open them or copy them. how can i autentify myself as admin (which i have name and pass) so that i can do anything i want?

Thanks in advance
