kde4.2 dual monitor issue

i have an dell vostro with intel gma video card and it seems that the only
way i can set the laptop monitor and external one is in mirror mode
from the kde resolution settings

ps:also the gnome resolutions for both monitors are borked each time i reboot
but at least it works not only in mirror mode:neutral:
