I'm running jaunty on an ASUS z83vb. I just realized when resuming from hibernate it didn't prompt me to log back in. I think it has done this consistently but I just now realized this is probably not normal?!? Am I missing something? Thanks.

Do you have it set up to lock the screen automatically? If not, than I would expect this is normal. This is what windows does.

Um, I need to set it up to lock automatically I guess. I tried installing xlockmore but it doesn't seem to have made a difference.

Try the screensaver. There is a checkbox for that purpose there.

I was avoiding installing a screensaver but finally caved. Once the screensaver packages were installed, the prompt is as expected. I just picked a long timeout and blank screensaver. Thanks.
