Yeah, Linux is almost as good as OSX, almost as good as Winodoes, or maybe you should realize that it is better than both and using KDE as intended is a better choice.

How's BSD for Desktop use?

P.S.
Desktop BSD and PCBSD don't work on my computer (kernel trap 12) while FreeBSD does work but needs more time to be configured (I've tried in vmware but I didn't set KDE up).
