I've been used KDE 4.2 a few times and I'm impressed. Most of all I like KDE4's default theme. But KDE4 is quite buggy so I have to use Gnome.
Most of gnome themes are not able to compete with KDE's themes, I haven't seen any glassy gnome theme. There are some, but kinda crappy IMO.

1. KDE4 has beautiful tray, is it possible to make something similar to gnome?
2. Is there any theme for Gnome which includes similar panel style what KDE4's has by default?
3. If possible, recommend some glassy themes for Gnome.

Panels can be changed regardless of the theme.

Right click the panel, got to properties-> background.

I just posted a thread including a panel I made here:
http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=1075033

Just open the .png and save it somewhere, then set it as the panel background. It is not exactly like the kde one, but it looks good and is a similar dark style. Also increase the panel to 35px with my image.

As far as themes for gnome go, there is an oxygen (kde4 theme) port for gnome which I am currently using with my panel background. :
