hey..... My friend if having trouble boot ubuntu. When she tries to load the login scree it freezes when it displays the background. Is their any solution to this TYVM

I think there's problem with compiz.

Have you discussed or checked compiz installation.

no we havn't :o But its a fresh install and its already acting weird
