Okay, we've all heard the wav file saying "I am Linus Torvalds and I pronounce Linux Linux.". But how do YOU pronounce it? I pronounce it Lin - nix. Some people pronounce it Lin - Nucks. And other people pronounce it Lyn - ix. Tell me all about it.
Please move to the recurring discussions forum becuase i can't post in there and i don't have the privalages to move it. And i'm pretty sure that this will be asked over and over.

Li-nucks, where the i sounds like the i in "lint."
Isn't there a video somewhere of Linus Torvalds saying he prefers it to be pronounced this way, despite the fact it was originally supposed to be pronounced a different way?

Lie-nucks...with the u being very short.
Probably wrong...but I've got various languages & cultures influencing me. Plus it gets the job done when talking to local tech people.;)
