Some love Linux, some love BSD
Does it matter much, as long as you're free?

./configure
make make install
now that wasn't so difficult,

I wish I could write poetry... or anything at all :( I suck at writing.. If I could write, I would have so much to write about

Well, i don't know if you can write, but you can type, i know that because i have witnessed it.

I think many people are trapped in that they would want to write but not sure if others want to read, just write it for yourself and publish it on the net, if somone wants to read it they will and you'll be surprised how many want to read it.

Just don't forget to send me a link when you do.

PS, i suck at poetry too, i can rhyme though

This is the first time i'm writing poetry and rap. Each poem/rap seperated by dashe's. Let me know what you think.

[Music beat from BIG "Big Poppa"]

Listenin' to some beat-box rap'
on this infamous Dap'
Coding gamez while I think about j00'
It's all for you u-bun-tu!

---

[Music beat from BIG "Juice"]

Linux on top of it's game
while Windows was ruled lame
so Windows went bankrupt
and Linux blew up!

But it was just a dream!
We still pushin' to get to the top!
To all my peeps codeing like a fiend
I give you MAD props and tell all you to KEEP THE DREAM!!!

---

[Music beat from BIG "Juice"]

Compilin' new kernel to make a master piece
The dream is coming true, while with Windows we try to keep the peace

Now Linux is in the lime light
We got to keep the code tight

Linux is blowin' up like we thought it would!
Now it's up to all of US to keep ubuntu, ALL GOOD!!!!!!

I'm sorry but without the beat you are imagining in your head, that doesn't work.

Post an MP3 of your brain.

First one goes by the beat from BIG "Big Poppa" and the other two go to the beat of BIG "Juice".

I have NO idea what you are talking about, rap to me is as obscure as exploited kinda punk is to you.

Ok? Just posting to the begining poster that asked for poetry. And rap has poetry in it. Wow, hopefully this doesn't turn into another negative thread.

I didn't mean that to sound negative in any way, i seriously don't get how you could interpret it to mean anything negative.

I seriously do not get the beat, it doesn't matter who you refer to that i don't know of.

OK?

Ubuntu. Just works.
Even newbies can use it.
For things like haiku.

[individual poem]

Microsoft may be the rule,
but it's because we play the fool,
and accept without remorse,
for the folly of our course.

We lazily accept a path,
and never stop to do the math,
while the few would hold us all,
and our freedoms take the fall.

Then by chance we have a choice,
a kernel which can give us voice,
an alternative to stranglehold,
opportunity to break the mold.

This fortune we have found is free,
it gives us strength to choose you see,
so let us not make mistakes,
and give up all to total fakes.

[/individual poem]

So I'm not the best poet in the world. It was fun to make though.
