Hi, I have been considering running a http and maybe ftp server, I have found all the relevant information (thank you to the community once again) but one question I have is, what kind of connection speed do you need for such a server to run at a respectable speed. Thank You for any help you can give and sorry if this has been asked, I cannot find a similar topic.

That depends really, how many people do you expect will be accessing your http server?
And for the ftp, the faster the better!

I dont expect many to begin with, I had a website that was very succesful but I had to close it. I think that the visitors could go to around 50 a day during the first 3 or 4 months. Then around 150-200 after about 6 months.

Upstream is around 100kbps, down 950kbps. Thank you for your help, it is very appreciated.
P.S I wont mind if you tell me that the connection is total crap and to not even attempt it :) rather that than trying to be nice and it not working too good
