I've already posted my share of questions on the board already and I just started using ubuntu about a week ago. It's an amazing os that lets casual users (like me), and power users (what im trying to do) enjoy the benefits alike. Very simple graphical interface, the updates are just a click away, and every problem (that would've been major say on windows) usually has a simple fix (even though i gave up on trying to play DVDs, im too lazy to do mre research i guess).

I've been thinking about its customization options.... Is there a way to enable/change the music that plays when it logs u on. I don't know how but the first time i installed ubuntu (this is my second time since the last one crashed... think it was cause of some ATI graphics driver that i downloaded), i somehow had some music that played after i logged into my account.

So ya basically, is there a way to modify that? And any other startup options.

System->Preferences->SOund and then click on the Sound tab
