Hi I'm wondering if there is any decent worship software out there or if using wine would be a better approach........
There are some ripper packages out there for windows so any input about good dual display software that anyone can recomend would be appreciated
Oh BTW don't tell me that open office Impress is an option - I tried it already and it is terrible when compared even to powerpoint......
cheers all

bump!!!!
this is a pretty important facet of the christian use, isn't it? i mean ideally we want a reason to be able to use ubuntu in our churches as well right?
I know i do - it would save me heaps of time on virus management if we could switch from windows to ubuntu
cheers

Check out Lyricue (http://www.adebenham.com/lyricue/). It seems like a pretty flexible worship display system.

I've actually tryed this out once, but didn't have dual monitors. May try again, as I do now.
It does seem to require MySQL, but I was able to add stuff without any issue by using the built in tools.
I was amazed at how much some of the commercial Windows software costs - SundayPlus = 400 USD = ouch!

Give Openlp.org a try. Works well. The current version is Windows, but works perfectly in WINE and the 2.0 version will be cross platform so it will work natively in Linux. www.openlp.org
