I'm having the damnedest problem. I just installed 8.10 on my Pismo and after some trouble I finally got it to the desktop. It looks great and it looks like it loads everything itself fine, like the Gnome-toolbar and all the applets, but I can't execute any applications through the gnome-menu or alt-f2!

When the update thing came up with updates, I was able to open the update manager, but when I clicked 'install updates' it acted like it was going to do something and just left at the point where I could cancel or install updates.

I can execute in a shell, but it's like whenever I try to initiate something in Gnome or XFCE it is as if I didn't do anything at all.

I just tried Fluxbox and it's not a problem in it, only in Gnome and XFCE. I just can't figure out what the problem is.
