Running Gnome on Ubuntu 8.10 with AMD64 dual-core/3800
Sound recorder worked until I installed "Sound Studio". Since then I get a constant tone when trying to record anything.
I have un-installed Ubuntu Studio components. No fix.
I have removed and re-installed sound recorder. No fix.
I have looked at and changed all the mixer settings. No fix.
What should I look at next?
