YouTube help!

Hi.

I have Ubuntu 8.04.

I cannot play videos on YouTube. I installed Adobe Flash.

What should I do?

Also, how do I download videos from Youtube (ubuntu or vista)

hi - how did you install flash?

The only way I've ever gotten flash to work was by unistalling the version that can be installed through firefox and installing the version from synaptic.

Can't tell you on the adobe, Mine works fine. However Firefox has a Ad-on called Download Helper 4.1 I think is the latest version. And for Vista you can get a program called "youtube downloader". Youtube Downloader does not work in Wine.

Once the video is loaded, it will be cached in the /tmp folder. Copy it to a desired location before closing the browser.

The filename will be of the form Flashxxxxx
