I am completely new to Kubuntu/Ubuntu.

Is there a good book out there that would allow me to learn about Kubuntu/Ubuntu ? I am not interested in developing Software for it at this time. I am mainly interested in setting up my computer to run on Kubuntu.

The main thing i would like to know:

1. How to setup/configure Hardware(especially disabling conflicting hardware).
2. How to configure Swapfile / Pagefile.
3. How Kubuntu/Ubuntu differs from Windows.
4. How to use the Command Prompt to work with Kubuntu/Ubuntu.

Thanks

I can't speak to Kubuntu, but I have Ubuntu Unleased 2008 (http://search.barnesandnoble.com/Ubuntu-Unleashed/Andrew-Hudson/e/9780672329937), and the Pro Ubuntu Server Administration (http://search.barnesandnoble.com/Pro-Ubuntu-Server-Administration/Sander-van-Vugt/e/9781430216223) books, both of which have been very useful, but at the end of the day just about everything you need to know can be found online for free. That doesn't mean you shouldn't get a book, though. You probably can't go wrong with the Official Ubuntu Book (http://search.barnesandnoble.com/The-Official-Ubuntu-Book/Benjamin-Mako-Hill/e/9780137151028) :)

Yes there are.

You can start with the wiki if you like.

Several books are freely available
