I'm looking to see if anyone could give me step-by-step help on how to set up a WinTV-GO Plus (NTSC 44981 LF) TV Card under Ubuntu 8.10

I've got the cables ready, and the card in. I need a player and a way to set it up to work. Doesn't seem to want to work under restricted drivers either. Thanks for any help.

shouldn't need drivers, a program called TVtime should do the job your looking for.

Otherwise MythTV is another option, but its annoying to set up
