View Full Version : [ubuntu] Cant install Adobe Flash 10

I just downloaded ubuntu 8.10 onto my ps3, i cant seem to figure out how to install the "install_flash_player_10_linux.deb" file, an error :wrong architecture 'i386' shows up and wont let me install package, and i've tried through the terminal but not working either unless i'm doing it worng or reading the wrong codes for it your help will be awesome.

Wild guess here but... are you running a 64bit system? Hardware architecture incompatibility means exactly what it sounds like, your running 32bit on 64bit or something similar. Regardless of the system type, the easiest way to install flash is with medibuntu (https://help.ubuntu.com/community/Medibuntu).

You could just search in Add/Remove or Synaptic for falshplugin-nonfree, or in a terminal,
sudo apt-get install flashplugin-nonfree

i have installed flash for the 64 bit...but t\for some flash sites i dont get to see it...

i can see youtube videos....dont know why the some flash sites is not working
