Hello,

Since yesterday, and after having downloaded some updates, Firefox has gone crazy. When I open it, it opens about 3 windows and they cover the whole screen, covering up the upper control panel and just being a pain in the butt.

Anybody else having the same problem?

Any ideas how to solve this?

Thanks!

go to Edit -> Preferances -> Main and check what your homepage is set to

if it is set to use more then one page, have it open one page and then restart firefox to see if it keeps doing it

i don't have the problem this is just my guess

I had a similar problem and turning on the compiz fusion Place Windows function fixed it so thats another possibility

Hi, thanks for the help, it solved the problem halfway, now it opens only one window, but it still opens to cover the whole screen...

Thanks a lot, reply #14 from that thread actually did the trick for me. The one about disabling fullscreen support in compiz.
