Hi everyone,

I'm using my soundcard (SB Live!) quite a while (couple of years now).
But I am nearly absolutely convinced that since some weeks the
quality of my sound improved significantly?!

When there is a heavy bassline I don't hear 'wobblewobblewobble' but 'wobble wobble boom'.
The sound seems to be so much clearer, exactlier and nicer I am really surprised how this
can happen?
So I was wondering if there had been some sound driver update lately that explains
this new behavior, or am I just getting mad ;)?

Check your volume levels. Maybe the bass volume level was lowered for some reason (the Live! has a bass hardware volume) giving you a more cleaner bass (at least, when compared how your bass sounded before).

I didn't changed ANY configuration/settings/parameters or anything else.
Also the adjustment of the bass level doesn't work in my case ;)
