hi , i am very new into the ubuntu world & i am loving exploring it.

I have been reading posts & have used lots of them like automount a drive & renaming them with great success. Thanks to this great community...

I have a problem though & i am not getting its solution.

I want to use torrent client but I am behind a proxy server of our college. I used proxifier in windows (xp & vista) but now I am not being able to install it in ubuntu. So I searched over the internet & these forums & found out that "afbp" is another software for the same purpose but I am not getting its setup anywhere. Can anyone give me the link for that?

Also if you know any other software for this purpose, please let me know

Does your college IT policy allows the use of bittorrent? If it does, then every possible torrent client has proxy setting gui, if not, we can't help you circumvent it.

No, it does support the use of torrent clients but the problem with using the clients http connections for proxy is that not enough connections are made but with software like proxifier, we can use multi proxies that are available in the college.

so anything now ??
